It's a place for anyone, at any level of English language learning. If you are not a native English speaker and you would like to practise your English by chatting to native English speakers in a very informal setting, then please come along to the café. Free teas, coffee, juice and biscuits are provided!
The café is open every Monday evening between 7.30pm and 9pm. Just turn up when it suits you, for the whole time, or part of it. No need to book. You can come every week, or just when it’s convenient.

The café is held in Alma Church hall, (behind Alma Church)Alma Church Alma Road Clifton Bristol BS8 2ES. The main church building can be found on the corner of Alma Road and St John's Road. In order to get to the hall, go through the gate on the right hand side of the church, follow the path through the garden, until you see the blue double doors of the church hall.
The group of people who serve and chat in the café are all members of Alma Church, who recognise that the local community includes a variety of people from different nations of the world, who are not native English speakers, and who may like to practise speaking English in a relaxed, informal environment.
